Brief Description

This test is conducted to detect proteins (antigens) associated with H. pylori infection in the gastrointestinal tract. It’s usually prescribed in the management gastrointestinal infections.

Patient Preparation

The patient should avoid certain medications such as antibiotics, antacids, bismuth, proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) and H2 blockers about 2weeks before the test.
